Occasionally I may have a pup
or 'started' dog for sale. Preferring to keep a small kennel and a
spread
in my dogs ages and range of experiences, allows me to focus on quality
rather than quantity. It is important to me that any dog I sell is well
matched to a prospective new handler and home, and I take great pains
to place dogs to ensure the best possible "fit". Prices vary, depending
on how much time and training has been invested in the dog. I continue
to be very proud of the dogs I've produced and trained, and enjoy
following their accomplishments with their new handlers.

Talented,
Well-started young male for sale: “Fling CBCA 4060”, born March 7/2005.
“Fling” was initially being trained as a started working cow dog, with
a future prospective home in place, but during his training, with both
Martha McHardy and the Parry Bay Flock, and then subsequently with
Peter Gonnet in Sask., it became apparent that Fling’s real gifts lay
more in the direction of a talented sheep trial prospect, or skilled
commercial flock dog- although he is a useful cowdog, with quieter,
dog-broke cattle, or in a dairy setting. Fling is ready to trial at the
Pro-Novice level, and will have the depth to make a future Open dog,
for a handler looking for a keen but biddable dog. Affable and
resilient, Fling’s easy-going and solid temperament will make him a
great partner, both on and off sheep. Shots are up to date, he was
CERF’ed Normal at 7 weeks, and he has microchip ID. Two litter
sisters are trialling successfully, and he has a great depth of close
relatives all proving themselves on the trial field; and “Fling” indeed
has his share of solid genetic ability. His paternal side of his
pedigree includes Peter Gonnet’s “Moss”, Martha McHardy’s “Vic”; and
his maternal pedigree goes back to Daziel’s Wisp, as well as many
working ranchdogs in western Canada. Due to my limitations in time,
energy and health at present, Fling is available for sale, to the right
home, as part of a current kennel reduction. Price: $3600.00 DVD
available to serious inquiries.
