The FCA has five active committees working to make Fernwood a better place to live, work, and volunteer.

Land Use
This committee acts as a liaison between residents, developers, and City Hall.

Safety
Formed in 2002 in response to concerns about problem properties in our neighbourhood, the Safety Committee is now a clearinghouse for a number of safety issues ranging from traffic problems to emergency preparedness.

Communications
The committee has a three-fold mandate:

1.    To disseminate information to our members and/or the public;
2.    To demonstrate the value of the FCA to the community;
3.    To develop communications policy and tools to support the communications needs of the FCA.

Building
All things related to maintenance, improvement, and useage of the building at 1923 Fernwood Rd. This committee also has responsibility for Spring Ridge Common.

Cultural
Advocacy for Fernwood culture.
